Times Microwave Systems
Times Microwave Systems has been a division of Amphenol Corporation since 2009 and is considered the leader in coaxial transmission line technology and production. Times provides a broad range of transmission line solutions for military, aerospace, wireless communications and industrial applications. Their strength is in specialized applications with extremely demanding performance requirements and high volume commercial applications at frequencies from a few KHz to 50 GHz. TMS is used in the wireless market to provide advanced interconnects for demanding aerospace and electronic warfare systems. Times pioneered the development of low smoke cables used for shipboard applications, lead in phase stable cable performance, and is now developing the next generation transmission line. Times developed the popular LMR® product line to serve the wireless market, and respond to the need for higher interconnect density and microwave multi-port connectors. More recently, Times has developed products based on SiO2 and TF4 phase-optimized dielectric technologies.
